She was united in marriage to Earl Way Gard on August 29, 1943 in Cass County and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1976. Leta was a very active lady. She was a waitress, cashier and lastly, she worked at Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department. Leta was an avid bowler and golfer. She enjoyed making wedding cakes, dancing in her younger years and being with her grandchildren....
