He was preceded in death by his wife Judy.
Services for Gene will take place 11:00 AM Saturday, August 31, 2013 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Dr. John Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, August 30, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Historic Cemetery.
