Goldie's life began on December 30, 1921 in Bangor Township, the daughter of Thomas and Marie (Groves) Ibbotson. She was united in married to Harry A. Johnson on November 11, 1943 in Stevensville, MI and he preceded her in death in June of 1967. Goldie enjoyed having her daughters take her to the casino on her birthday, Mother's Day and any day they were available. She loved to spend time in her garden and yard, spend time with her family and watch her favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon.
